Southern Lites Park Planting

Start Date
End Date

Join Friends of Trees, the City of Happy Valley, and North Clackamas Watershed Council to turn an underutilized portion of the park into a thriving natural area. This is part of a multi-year effort to improve habitat and water quality along Mt. Scott Creek. Come plant some native plants, meet some new friends, and help make this project a reality!

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and be assigned a planting crew. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and planting guidance, as well as breakfast snacks and coffee/tea/hot chocolate -- all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy shoes or boots, and be ready to have fun!
